Ultramarathon Runner – Festival Enthusiast – Avid Snowboarder
We are proud to introduce you to Ryan Lange, otherwise known as RaveRunner_1. You can find Ryan grinding out a 200-mile ultramarathon or partying it up at a 3-day music festival. Ryan is the brains behind much of the design for each bag we’ve developed.
Ryan wasn’t happy with a weight of 235 pounds and an unimpressive physique. He quickly fell into marathon running to curb his pounds gained and started to shed much of the weight that he loaded up in his early college years. Quickly being inspired by the like of Cameron Hanes and David Goggins, Ryan dove into the ultramarathon scene headfirst. Without much experience or understanding of how to fuel his body, Ryan attempted and completed his first 100-mile ultramarathon which then led to the unimaginable length of 200 miles in the Moab 240 mile endurance run. Here Ryan began understanding what features are needed in a backpack or bag for those in the outdoors.
While you can commonly find Ryan on the trails early Saturday morning, you are even more likely to find him on the festival grounds that same night. Using these long weekend adventures as, “training,” Ryan likes to push the limits in physical endurance and prove to others that the previously incomprehensible is indeed possible. L
